Eliminating the need for old-fashioned shore-making, which entailed measuring, cutting, nailing, wedging, etc., the Ellis Slip-In Shore Holder saves a tremendous amount of lumber, time and labor.   Just attach shore holders at desired distance apart along the purlin, with duplex nails, and they are ready to receive adjustable Ellis Shores.  After the assembly of 'end shores and purlin' are raised and braced, it’s easy to "slip in" the in-between shores; only a few seconds are required. Instead of three men to erect a shore, just one man is needed.

SPECIFICATIONS:
Cup Type, 3/16” steel
SIZE: Will accept 4" lumber through bottom and across the top
WEIGHT: 1 3/4 lbs.
DESCRIPTION:  Fits 4x4 Ellis Shore and 4x4 or 4x6 Purlin.

SPACING:  Use duplex nails to attache to purlin 2' to 6' apart, depending on slab 
                      thickness.

DESCRIPTION: Fits 4x4 Ellis Shore and 4" or 5" ALUMINUM Purlin.
SPACING: Use  1/2" x 1 1/2" hex bolt and nut to attach SH-4CA to Purlin 2’ to 6’ 
                    apart, depending on slab thickness.

Below are Ellis 4x4 Trench Shore Cups in conjunction with Ellis 4x4 Screw Jacks for trench shoring.  The trench shore cup attaches to a vertical 2x4 runner, and allows the horizontal 4x4 to rest in side of it.
