Deck leveling with Ellis Screw Jacks (4 of 4)Here are four pictures of how we used 16 of your 4"x4" screw jacks. My contractor painted them before I got these pictures. They support a deck that is about 45 feet long overlooking the Pacific Ocean . Because of ground movement, the deck was sagging in places. After installing the jacks, we were able to completely level it within an hour or so. Now I can do periodic re-leveling without any difficulty. We were able to turn the jacks by hand and lift the deck as much as 3" at one end. Your jacks are a great solution to a difficult problem. If I were building a new deck, I would put them in from the start. This is a common problem for decks near the edge of a cliff like mine.
